PECO to Restrict Route 291 (26th Street) for Utility Improvement in Philadelphia

King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning a weekday lane closure on Route 291 (26th Street) between Penrose Avenue and Hartranft Street in Philadelphia on Wednesday, June 19, through Friday, July 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for utility installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather permitting.

PECO Energy will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
